The best ideas come from necessity... In the Spring of 2025, CEO Steve Rifenburg was looking at the vendor list for a local reptile expo to find information about the businesses that would be vending at the show. Over 80% of the businesses listed either had no website, dead links or a social media page that hadn't been updated in YEARS!
Vowing to find some way to help this community that he loved so much, Steve took classes and tests to become CERTIFIED in SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING MANAGEMENT. He wanted to provide a resource for reptile, amphibian and invertebrate companies to increase their visibility to customers.
A few months later, Herp Hype was formed to help exotic pet businesses find their voice online and to help customers (like Steve) find them more quickly. We are happy to share our story with anyone who asks, because it's a story that a lot of your customers probably share. That's why we are so excited to help you get started!
